Mount Eliza

Project Overview & Consultation

This large home was badly in need of a makeover and that’s exactly what we gave it! In three months we completely transformed this 5 bed house into something very, very  special.

The scope of works included the following: new kitchen, new bathroom, powder room, laundry, new flooring throughout the home over 250 square meters with marble look tiles upstairs and black butt timber flooring downstairs, new carpet in the bedrooms, a new front porch paved in beautiful blue stone, new windows, internal and external painting.

Concept & Design

We were engaged by this client as we had previously completed a ‘before sale renovation’ for their sons in Mornington. The sons ended up getting the highest price in their estate at the time of the sale, so we came highly recommended! When it came to selling their own house, this client got us over to see what could be done. Wow! The house was tired and in desperate need of a makeover. But that’s exactly what we do at High Level Renovations, we transform the old into new and we just couldn’t wait to get going.

Project Management

We worked with our clients closely to come up with a scope of works to be undertaken that would provide real value for money while delivering an awesome outcome. We used more cost-efficient products that still had a ‘wow factor’, including natural colours that appeal to more people. We optimised the space available to become more user friendly, turning what was being used as a study/office into a stunning formal lounge room. We also transformed the kitchen into something that would make your jaw drop!

Project Outcomes

While we were had at work costing out the project, our clients invited some real estate agents over to gather ideas and potential prices for the house if it was renovated or unrenovated. The best price they were told for an unrenovated house was $1.3m. We ended up doing the entire renovation for just under $240,000 and they sold it for $1.9m. How’s that for three months of hard work? The client was, of course, absolutely delighted.
